How to find the velocity of a golf ball imeidatley after impact?

Question by R0cKY: How to find the velocity of a golf ball imeidatley after impact?
A golf club strikes a stationary golf ball of mass 30g. The club is in contact with the ball for 0.1 s and the applied force is 50 N. Find the velocity of the ball immediately after impact.

Please if there is anyone out there to help me with this problem I would be greatly appreciated.

I (impulse) = F*t

Impulse changes the momentum (p=mv) of the body.
The momentum at first is 0 (because it’s stationary).
New momentum therefore is equal to F*t.

You can get the speed out of the new momentum (v=p/m).
