Q&A: GOLF-How to keep grip from coming off the club?

Question by : GOLF-How to keep grip from coming off the club?
This is for both hands.

Always had a handsy swing

Seems to happen when I focus on being less handsy and try to get the turn to get arms in right position at top.

Also,my grip is pretty strong.

Swing within yourself. It sounds like you’re trying to kill the ball with a sort of baseball-type swing. They say to swing about 80% of full-speed, but I find it easier to think of a slow, controlled backswing; a pause at the top, then gradually build up speed into impact.

I also like this visual: Imagine you’re swing is like when you want to kick a field goal in Madden (or NCAA) video games. You hit the “X” button to start the swing, and the meter slowly runs up to the top. You let the meter get as high as you can, then hit the “X” button again, which pauses the meter for a split second. When it starts down, it gets faster, until you get to the point where you need to hit “X” again.
